Camping
There are several different types of BSA camping programs available in Five Trails District:
- Short-term camping
- Cub Scout Camping: This is usually a Pack or Den overnight family campout.
Note: Campouts of this type require that a BALOO-trained Adult Leader be present at all times (in addition to the usual two-deep leadership requirements). - Scous BSA Camping: This may consist of one-to-several night(s) campouts.
- Venturing Camping: This may consist of one-to-several night(s) campouts.
- Cub Scout Camping: This is usually a Pack or Den overnight family campout.
- Long-term camping
- Cub Scout Day Camp
- Boy Scout Summer Camps
- Circle Ten Council holds Summer Camp at its two long-term camp sites:
- Camp Trevor Rees-Jones, near Athens, TX
- Camp Constantin and Jack Furst Aquatic Base, on Possum Kingdom Lake, near Graford, TX

Circle Ten Council holds Winter Camp at Camp Trevor Rees-Jones every winter.

These high-adventure opportunities are available only to older Scouts; the minimum age varies by venue. See the links below for details.

National Jamborees are held every 4 years at Summit Bechtel Reserve in West Virginia
