NEW Scouts BSA Online YPT Course Mandated for ALL Adult Leaders by October, 2018

Scouts BSA recently updated its online YPT course. The new course replaces all previously-available versions of online YPT courses. 

Important Note: In addition, this new online YPT course replaces the former Face-to-Face YPT (F2F YPT), which is no longer available.

The new course consists of four modules: 

• YPT Overview and Policies
• Sexual Abuse Prevention
• Bullying Prevention
• YPT Certification Test

It now takes about an hour to take this new, vastly-improved online YPT course. 

Printing the NEW YPT Certificate
Once someone has taken the new online YPT, it updates immediately. To print the YPT certificate (which looks different than the old one), Select My Dashboard then My Training then Completions. You may then use the printer icon to the right to print the certificate. 

Note: A Spanish-language version of this new course is expected by mid-2018. 

Note: BSA has announced that ALL Adult Leaders will be REQUIRED to re-certify by successfully taking the NEW online YPT course by October, 2018 , even if their previously-valid YPT certificates do not "appear" to have expired yet. 

BSA has removed all previous versions of online YPT education from my.scouting.org; only the new course is available now
